Here are my Cub food bargains for the week. Here’s what I did:

1. BOGO deals. I got fresh deli turkey, grapes, sour cream and sour cream this way. Buy one, get one free.

2. Land O Lakes promotion. If you buy two gallons of Land O Lakes milk, you get the following free: large eggs, orange juice, spreadable butter, and English muffins.

3. Kraft Cheese promotion. Buy 5 Kraft cheeses, get $5 off your grocery order.

4. Manufacturers’ Coupons. I also found coupons for Little Debbie muffins online (coupons.com) so the $2.00 box became $1.25. I also got Speed Stick for $1.50 ($3.50 - $2.00 coupon: Proctor and Gamble insert, May).

I got ALL of this for $31.54!


Now that I have all that cheese and sour cream, I will probably make enchiladas one night this week. Also, I found this recipe to use with the English Muffins, sour cream and eggs (caution, this is NOT a diet recipe!):

yes you do need q's, but they usually have the ads at the service counter or at the front when you enter the store.
