My Shoprite offers a shop at home service where you can order your groceries and drive up to the store and pick them up, for a fee. While I think this is a great idea for people who don't have the time to shop for themselves, I've found I can use this service to my advantage even though I go to the store.

What I do is make a mock order. I go online and do all of my shopping, comparing prices at home instead of in the store. This saves me so much time. I add everything to my cart, then print out my list aisle by aisle. I even know exactly what I'm spending before I even leave the house (as long as I only buy what's on the list )

Can you do this at your local supermarket?

Oh that would be so nice! My grocery store doesn't even have a basic website.

Stop andShop also has this program, its called PeaPod. Its a home delivery option. Whats great about it is, when shopping, it does help really only get the items on your list! I do plan on trying this out with the heat and the price of gas, it may well be worth it.

I wish. I'm by 3 grocery stores and to my knowledge none of them do this. With my babe it would be SO worth the money to skip the hour+ of going through stores, searching for deals.
