Well I hit Stop and Shop twice this week, and I ONLY bought the items on sale and used the coupons as much as I could. I shopped on Saturday, but didn't bring coupons because we didn't intend on shopping. We were on the way home and decided to stop for some steaks and so I grabbed some deals while I was there, since a bunch of them were only good for the weekend.

SO Saturday, with NO coupons:
Total before Savings: 90.10
Total Savings: 36.94
Total after Savings: 53.16
Thats a total savings of 40%. I only bought things that were listed in the STop and Shop Thread.

SO today I shopped again to get the rest of the deals.
I used several coupons, essp the MC General Mills coupons from Smart Source, I used 2 $1/2 and 1 $1/3 so I bought 7 boxes of cereal that were saled priced at 2 for $5.
Then I used 1 MC Yoplait coupons from Smart Source, plus 1 OC from Coupons.com. They were priced at 2.43 for 6pk. I had 1 $1/2 and 1 $1 off any. So that was $3 off and I bought 3 pks of them.
I also bought the Charmin that was the 24 'Mega rolls' (equeal to 48 rolls) for 10.99. Used 1 $1 off coupon and paid 9.99 for the TP. Yipee!
My totals for today were
Total before Savings: 94.77
Total Savings: 37.27
Total after savings:57.50
That is a grand total of 39% of my bill saved today! And again, I ONLY bought sale items and nothing that was full price. I even found a few sales that weren't listed in the circular!
