Lets keep this thread for all of us savvy BJs shoppers. I'd like to hear what kind of money you save shopping there and buying in Bulk. Even if it wasn't such a great deal.

My trip on 6/21
Not one of my better trips. I was using BJs exclusivly for quite a while, but lately the stores having such great deals that I stocked alot there and used some of my coupons already. Here are some decent items I stocked up on.
Gold Fish 58 ozs Box has 3 individual bags: 6.99
Bulkie Rolls bag of 18 $3.49
LOL White cheese 3.49 lb
Folgers 52 oz 10.49
Motts Assorted applesauce 4/6pks $6.49
Gogurt 24 tubes:5.99
Capri Sun 100%juice pouches 4/10pks 9.49
Dawn 90oz 7.49
Colgate Advanced 3pk 7.99
Hillshire Farms 4pk Keilbasa 8.99
I used a few coupons:
Sweet Baby Rays was an instant rebate 1.40
final cost was 2/$3
Has a $1 off Gogurt coupon, so 24 tubes were $4.99
Oscar Mayer hot dogs 40 franks were 6.99 but I had a store coupon for 2.00
So, 4.99 for 40.
There was a store coupon for the Pick and Packs $2 off Salsa. SO if you buy the pick and pack (2 bags of Frito Lay snacks for 4.98) you get $2 off a 3pk of salsa. The salsa is 6.49, so they ended up being 4.49 for 3.
Colgate toothpaste was 7.99. I had an Instore coupon for $2 off, plus an MC for $1. I saved $3 so the toothpaste was 4.99 for 8oz tubes.
I had a .20 off coupon for Dawn, no big savings there. BJs doesn't double.
I did get some not so great buys. I forgot about some of the other store specials as I was shopping there. I bought Ragu, 3 jars for 6.89, no coupon. SnS has it on sale this week, 3 for $5.
Also I picked up a pork loin, and I was upset about the price, 2.49lb. Then I realized after I got home, SnS had it onsale for 1.89lb.

Great idea Missystuy! We seem to shop at all the same places since we are both in New England.
At BJ's I got:
Similac Formula (36 oz) for $30 - $5.00 Similac check-$2.00 coupon=$23.00
Double pack Thomas Light English muffins $4.19 (regular Thomas is just $3.99)
ALL Detergnet(just realized how cheap it is here for 110 loads and will purchase on the next trip) $12.99
I usually buy Egglands Best 2 dozen for about $4.00 w/ $1.00 coupon comes to $3.00
We also buy BJ's brand toilet paper and paper towels( I will check the price next time I go)

So glad you started this thread. I always ask the people I know what they bought too. Here's what I bought:
GoGurt Yogurt Tubes - 24 per box - 5.99 = app. .25 a tube *
They cost over $3 a box for 8 at my local grocery store.
Fiber One Choc. Granola Bars - 20 per box - $7.19 = .36 a bar *
The sale price at my grocery story is $2.50 a box.
*BJ's had a coupon that if you purchased 3 General Mills items you got $5 off. I bought 2 yogurt tubes - I freeze them for school lunches and one box of granola bars so my savings was actually greater than listed.
Ritz Cheese & Crackers - 30 for $6.79 = .23 a pack. *
Reg. grocery store - 6 for $2.00 (sale)
*Had another BJ's coupon for $1.50 off this purchase.
Berkley Jensen Tissues - 6 boxes/2 ply/300 tissues per box - $9.99 = .0056 a tissue
Also bought Activa Light yogurt (w/BJ's coupon too) and BJ's bath tissue.
I thought the BJ's coupons said you could not combine them w/other offers. Has anyone tried using both at once?
Also, since I started CVSing I haven't bought toiletries or laundry soap at BJ's. This will probably change when winter comes because I like to be prepared.
One last thing I think BJ's has very nice Christmas baskets (toiletries and food) for gifts. I have to be stern on myself so I don't overbuy.
