Holy cow, I haven't been able to get that kind of savings in years. I usually average about 40-45%, yes I know that is good, BUT I used to be able to do 60%. That was when my 2 grocery stores used to compete, but when one of them was almost going under the other store stopped the competition and the other store did stay afloat but does not compete like they used to.

I noticed your receipt said Bonus coupon, what is that?

What exactaly do you consider savings? How do you calculate it? Is it all coupons or do you take the sale price and calculate savings that way? Do you consider the price of store brand vs name brand? Just curious as to how you figure all this out.
