... do you shop at on a regular basis? I pretty much go to only one store, but will occasionally make a trip to another store for a great bargain. What about you?

This past month I tried going to 3 different stores that were close in location. Hoping to save some money and ended up spending just as much as going to one store.

yeah, I think the bargain really has to be worth it AND most importantly, you need to buy ONLY what you're going there for! Otherwise, you will end up spending more.

I go to Publix unless there is just something that is so much less expensive at Walmart. Then I will go there, but I prefer Publix by far!

I hit 2 regularly and a 3rd on occasion! Giant Eagle and Aldis reg. (recent habit) and we have a "discount store" Marcs that I like to hit every now and again! Luckily they are all fairly close together.

I live too far from grocery stores for it to be economical. There is one in the next town over that is kind of pricey(Hannafords), but not as bad as Stop n Shop that is 15 miles away and then the nearest after that is 40 minutes away. So, I sometimes have my dh stop at Market Basket on the way home from work, or if we're out that way we plan our shopping on those days.

I do our everyday shopping a the commissary but will go to Dillon's when they have a good sale, especially since they double coupons and I can walk out of there with free or nearly free items. There are also items at Dillons that they don't carry at the commissary, like the Sunday newspaper, so I go there for that.

If I'm in the area I'll go to Walgreen's and Aldi's too. Aldi's is a bit hit or miss because the commissary prices are about the same and the commissary takes coupons but we do like the ground turkey that they sell there and the bread is cheaper.

Kroger & Meijer seem to have the best deals on food... but occasionally WalMart will try to compete so you can get some good deals that way but we normally only buy pop there, they always have the best deals.

I try to get most everything at Walmart just because it makes it easier, but I hate running across town to get there lol...the other place I shop alot is Dillons (they are here in KS only but a division of Kroger) they double coupons and have weekly sales with the shoppers plus card...occasionally I go to Aldi's as well for some of the cheaper items...

I shop 3 regularly. Aldi and Sams and HyVee. Regularly is about once a month though. I do drive 1/2 hour to get to Aldi and Sams, so I combine those trips with other errands to the big city.
