My FIL is in charge of the feed mill at a local egg plant - so we get all we want for free!

We get organic, free range, veg. feed eggs from my parents friend.. 2 dozen a week. for free. During heavy baking times i buy eggs at whole foods. The same type cost about 4.99. I can handle it since i buy a dozen once every 3 months or so.

We also have chickens ~ so we don't buy them. We do, however, sell the regularly for $2/doz.

No choice here, but to buy them from the store. I shop mainly at Meijers, so I get the Meijer brand, 2 dozen for a little over 3 dollars.
When I shop at Walmart, sometimes I grab a dozen of their organic ones for about 2 dollars. I figure even though eggs have gone up, they still are a pretty cheap food, and I can splurge on the organic ones ocassionally.

I shop mainly at Ingles since it is the closest grocery store to us, I buy a dozen medium eggs for around $1.18, they have gone down in price over the past month. I don't buy any organic eggs, I don't even know how much they cost here.
