SO what is a Mallomars?

That's what I was wondering Must be something different than what I thought? I thought they were just a kind of cookie. I don't know why that would indicate the end of summer

they are a cookie that only comes out in the fall (At least here in NY) I guess because of the chocolate coating they only sell them in the cooler months.
