Sometimes Mom and I will split the costs on BOGO items to save even more.

It works good on bigger things like roasting chickens when were low on freezer space

I do with the kids.

I do but I usually pay for it and give it to my mom. She will do the same also. She did it more often when I was in college but I do it now more that she is trying to retire.
SO, I guess I don't do it as a way to save money but to be generous.

Yes, all the time with the inlaws. Also, we buy bulk foods at Costco and split between my mom and inlaws so the food doesn't go to waste.

I do this all the time with my shopping buddy. My best friend and I do our grocery shopping together every Thursday. It isn't often that we are buying the same thing (I shop mostly organic...she doesn't), but when we find something be both need, we will BOGO together.

And on occasion when I am visiting my parents or they are down here visiting us, we will BOGO non perishable items. And if I am going up to visit them, I always buy extra organic fruits and veggies and take some up to them and vice versa when they come down here.

No, never. I always use the BOGO to stock up. It is my favorite way to stock up on items since it technically makes them 50% off. I usually get at least 3-4 of the BOGO deals.
