I did it!

The local gas station that I usually buy my milk at had no gallons left, but the half gallons were on sale 3 for $5. SO I bought the 3, and froze the ones I wasn't using. It defrosted just fine and the taste is no diffrent. My kids were thrilled with how ice cold it was too LOL

Yeah. I love freezing my milk. I've been stocking up on it whenever it's on sale. Need to go back to teh store when DH gets paid tomorrow. Meijer had the gallons 2/$5.

So, do you just stick it in the freezer as is, or do you have to pour a little milk out and then freeze it?

I also freeze milk all the time. The other good thing about is that the milk cools down the fridge while I let it defrost in it which saves energy the fridge would use to cool!
