(Health and beauty aid)

Do you buy them at the supermarket? If so, do you feel the sales are comparable to drug stores? If not, is it worth spending a little more to get it all in one place?

I usually buy everything at the supermarket. With two kids, I think it's worth it to spend a little more to only make one trip.

Yes because I shop mostly at Meijer and Walmart and they are supercenters. They have it all!!! I hardly ever buy things at CVS or Walgreens.

Sometimes my local grocery store will have shampoo for .79 a bottle. If I'm in there for something else and find it on sale, I will buy several bottles. Their prices on most items are higher, so I don't go there on purpose to shop. We pass right by it on the way home from church and will stop there if we need something.

Only if the price is really good or I have a coupon and they are running their triple coupon deal. Target is less than 3 miles down the road, I'd rather go there and get something at sale price than pay almost double for convenience.

No because I prefer to buy my groceries at Aldis and HyVee, but I usually pick up health and beauty stuff at WalMart. It is not any extra to go to WalMart since it is right in town and it seems like we are there all the time anyway!

I think grocery stores are getting better about matching their prices on these items -- I just keep an eye on them and buy the products we use when they are on sale.

It really depends on my mood. If the price is "decent" than I will buy there. Especially if I have my kids with me. I agree that sometimes saving a dollar isn't worth the hassle. My stores are all very close together, but the "in and out" with my kids is not fun; my oldest is physically impaired and my youngest is a runner...LOL. Not fun. That said, if I have some 'alone' shopping, I will stock up at a good price, so I try not to get into the position of having to buy.

Only if its not sale or I have a good coupon. Its easy enough where I live to hit the cheaper places for them.

I used to, but then I discovered how to CVS. Now almost all HBA come from there.

I wish I had just one of these near me! We have a Walmart but it's not a supercenter. We may have a lot here in NY but I dream of the day that I can buy wine, cold cuts, produce, shoes and tires all in the same place!
