No but I grabbed my sunblock out of my backpack (diaper bag/purse) for one of my dh's coworkers at a picnic and my Always pad was stuck to it That happened on Saturday. Everyone acted like nothing happened.

Lots of farting. I guess it's all the walking around. The other day I was in the store and farted, and it was BAD (I'm pregnant, btw, that's my excuse for how I smell at the moment!). I looked in front of and behind me, and no one was there, so I didn't worry too much, but then a woman came around the (short) aisle end, and started coming at me. It was too late. I got out of there as quickly and inconspiculously as possible, but she knew it was me!

One time in college I was grocery shopping with my roommate and SHE farted, and it was the most unholy assault on the senses that you could imagine. I RAN! But she stood calmly in her fog, acting as if there was nothing at all wrong. I hissed, "KIM! COME ON! Let's get OUT of here!!" but she acted as if she didn't even notice me. I was coughing and running away, and this lady with her kids came around the corner into the aisle and said, "whoa! Someone's gettin' SICK in this aisle!" and then looks right at ME, peeking around the corner like a guilty person! Didn't even notice Kim. She thought it was me.

What a funny thread!

For a looooong time, I had one of my two kids with me while grocery shopping and then for a long time after that I baby-sat a friend's child and then after that my niece. In the last 10 years I have rarely been without a small child in the cart, who I talk to the whole time I'm shopping.

Well, not so long ago, I'm pushing the cart through the aisles when I realize all of a sudden, that I'm talking out-loud, "Well, do you think we should get apples today or bananas?" before realizing I was alone and I looked like a crazy woman talking to herself.

This didn't happen to me personally but I did see a woman at a WalMart have a baby one time on an end cap. That was pretty embarrassing ... or at least I think it would be.

When my kids were babies/toddlers I found myself pushing the cart back and forth while waiting in the check out line - like you do to soothe/amuse them. Only I was ALONE. Whoops!

You mean like, she was in labor & delivered the baby right there in WalMart? Whoa!

For me... many years ago I was at the store & had a jar of speggetti sauce where a child would sit. I moved the cart... the jar fell out & broke! OMG... I was so embarassed!

I was at the meat counter once and I thought I saw my SIL further down, so I ran up to her cart and grap a couple packages of meat and "said, oh these look better I'll take them" and she turn around and it wasn't my SIL but a stranger.

And once I grab somebody elses cart and was pushing it around putting more stuff in it! I finally realize that some of the stuff wasn't mine.

One time, years ago, we went shopping at Meijers after dinner. We had one of those blooming onion appetizers at dinner. I've not had one since as DH has made it clear that it makes us both too gassy. Anyway, I was in one aisle & DH was elsewhere. All of a sudden he comes running down the aisle towards me, lets out a foggy gasser, and runs off. Of course, just then someone comes in the aisle and sees just me there in this fog of smell. I was so ticked at him! He thought it was hysterical to leave me holding the bag, so to speak. Then, when we got home, I was in the spare bedroom, and he ran in, let one loose, and locked me in the room with it. Needless to say - no more blooming onions!

One time when I was pregnant with DS#2, I was in Walmart in the middle of the store, not really close to either bathroom. I had been very sick and had a terrible cough. Of course, being pregnant, I had a very bad gag reflex and very weak bladder. I got into a bad coughing fit and started to cough so hard I actually threw up and peed on myself at the same time. I abandoned my full cart and walked with my head down to the back restroom, refusing to make eye contact with anyone. I cleaned up, returned to find my cart still there and checked out and left. I don't know if anyone noticed what happened, but I was horrified!
