Anyone else visit stop&shop?

Has anyone else noticed that thier sales have been terrible lately????? There has really been nothing really great on sale. Nothing to make me run out and shop anyway. Even with the coupons, I'm not saving a whole lot. I havn't shopped there in over a month.

But I have a shoprite not much further and thier sales have been SO much better lately.

good timing! My dh just said this yesterday! He shops at stop & shop, and I shop at Market Basket. I do the "general" shopping, he did the specials only..and he hasn't gone in a month too. I wonder if it's related to their new image and makeover? Our neighbor works there and they have a new logo now and everything. The cost of all that must mean no more sales for a little while.

I actually know someone that works there and she said the same thing. They did this huge makeover and there has been NOTHING on sale to bring in the customers. I think I only saw 1 thing this week that I could use, but it wasn't worth a whole trip there for 1 measly item.

Even thier 'real deal' stuff isn't very cheap. I can get the stuff cheaper at Walmart.

Yes and I'm in the same situation as you. As much as I prefer shopping at Stop & Shop over Shoprite, I have to go to Shoprite because the sales are so much better.
