If you start a thread with a question posed to our members in search of some advice or counsel and want to be able to go back to it at any time, you can "subscribe" to that post and we will notify you when you have received some responses.....

Along the top of the message you will see a list of options including "thread tools, "search this thread", "rate thread" etc along the green tool bar.

If you click thread tools, it will give you the option to subscribe to threads. Just click it anytime you want to subscribe to a thread.

Now, the next part is the important part.

Along the top of the screen on another green bar you will see, at the very left hand side something that says "User CP". This stand for 'user control panel'. Once you click that, along the left hand side you have a number of options. The 4th one down is "edit options". Click that. Under the section on 'messaging and notification' you will see. "Default Thread Subscription Mode". Here you want to select what you want to happen to your subscriptions. If you put "no e-mail notification" then the list will just be under "User CP" and under "subscribed threads". However you also have the option of choosing 'instant e-mail', 'daily e-mail', or 'weekly e-mail' updates on your subscriptions. You can change your options at any time.

This is what it looks like in your UserCP when there is a new post on your subscribed thread:

When you want to unsubscribe to the thread, start at the beginning of the steps and it will have the option to unsubscribe, instead of subscribing.
