Good Morning Ladies! What's cooking today? Any plans for the weekend?

Breakfast: Cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs with cheese and diced green pepper.
Lunch: Ham and swiss sandwiches, chips, yogurt
Dinner: Shrimp stirfry over white and brown rice

Today I have a bunch of errands to run, take the kids for haircuts and my oldest dd has a church sleepover tonight. Dh is gone most of the weekend so I am hoping to get a lot done around the house! My dad is coming for a visit, I pick him up from the airport Monday morning, I can't wait, I haven't seen him in over a year! So, I want to plan some special lunches and dinners for him.

We are having burgers on the grill maybe if not in the house? If we can find a burner replacement.I made a HUGE batch of taco salad to eat all weekend. We are going to rent some movies today. The boys have 1/2 day then off next week for spring break.DH & I are excited to spend time with them for the whole week together. We have never done that before. So it should be fun.

Need to get off here and make me a bagel.DH wants some green salad for breakfast *Ick*.Not ther first thing I think of when I wake up for sure.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!!

Well,dh pulled out this morning but luckily he didn't have to leave real early so I made him steak and eggs w/toast and coffee and dd had a scrambled egg sandwich and some grapes.

lunch will be the last of the ham n swiss sandwiches.

and dinner will be l/o lasagna.......mmmmm it was soooo good.I really wasn't in the mood yesterday to even make lasagne but, man,it hit the spot

I'll be busy cleaning up today and tonight dd and I are gonna watch Madascar 2...Sunday I will probably bake something for my niece who will be here, hopefully,on Monday.

My Mom and Aunt are doing some running around today and tomorrow to get Grandma settled into a care home.....this is just heartbreaking ...her alzheimers is getting worse.....she's fallen at home twice.....it's just all soooo sad. It's getting harder and harder for her to even walk...it's horrible.

They found a nice place though....it's a little far but rated pretty high (even nationally so that's good)

Just sad ya know?!

No idea....

Trudy- Sorry to hear about your grandma. If you ever need to talk pm me. My grandma had Alizheimers too. It is really hard. Gotta try and stay postive even when it seems impossible.

M2M, so sorry.

We are having chicken nuggets, flavored rice, and a veggie tbd. Dh and one Ds10 are going to the hockey game tonight so we need something quick. And I need a break from cooking, so this was easy!

M2M- sorry to hear about your grandma, my grandpa had alzheimers, it is so sad and heartbreaking.

I have had such a rough week, I will be glad when it is over! Ds has had a cold and is also cutting all 4 molars at once, so we have been to the dr and I have been having to give him motrin and tylenol round the clock to keep his fever down. It keeps wanting to spike up. I have not gone anywhere at all this week and now it is going to be raining all weekend, so we can't even take him outside to play. I am feeling stir crazy big time!!
