Our budget will be $450 this month since DH has an extra paycheck. (Typically it's only $300) Our budget includes food, cat supplies which I don't think we need anything this month, diapers and other baby supplies which I also think we are good on. This will include our 4th of July celebration which I know will be expensive since we are doing steaks.

I am going to shoot for $300. I just did my menu for the next two weeks and 95% of the ingredients (meat, carb, canned veggie, etc) I already have. I am trying to go thru the freezers and use up all the meat that is there. I will have to stock up on formula, I usually buy about 40 or more cans per month. Ds4 is good to go on baby cereal and baby food. Most of my grocery shopping will consist of fresh produce and milk products. I believe that the last time I tried to budget my groceries for the month I was trying for $400. One of my biggest problems is keeping my receipts so I can keep track.
I also want to stock up on any sale items for the July 4th holiday.

I haven't done this for a long time, but I'm going to try tracking again. I haven't a clue what we've been spending on food lately.

I'll start with $500 for our family of 6. That includes eating out as well.

I am going to try this again. With the kids being home full time, I want to make 450 for groceries, 150 for others such as cat supplies, prescriptions, personal and household items. So, 600 total.

Count me in for $425. That's two adults, three hungry boys, and all hba/cleaning supplies.

Through 7.30:

Target $105.19
CVS $25.77
Price Chopper $6.77
Sam's Club $21.78
WG $13.90
Wegmans $27.94
Walmart $211.91
Giant $32.65

total: $445.91

over: $20.91
