I am guessing that most of us do...but I KNOW there are a few DH's who love to be in the kitchen.

Is your one of them?

Mine does at least one meal every 10 days or so...and he helps with Sunday Brunch EVERY week.

Mostly me, but not because he won't or can't. He can, but I actually enjoy it and he doesn't.
We have a deal - one cooks, the other cleans up the kitchen.

And he's great about making sure there's something for me to eat when I'm doing a show. He packs my lunch for me most mornings, since I go in to work much earlier than he does, and he has been sending me an extra sandwich to eat on the way to the theater, since I go straight there from work. He also makes sure there's something for me to eat and the kitchen is already cleaned when I get home between 9 and 10 every evening, even if it's just canned soup and crackers.

My DH does. He LOVES to cook. On the days he is home he cooks ALL of our meals. On the days he is working we have a lot of left overs because of the kids schedules.

I do all the cooking. I'm a homemaker so I'd feel weird if he came home from work and fixed dinner.

Dh doesn't mind cooking, but works long hours and I do 99% of the cooking. I don't mind, I like it. He sometimes will help on the weekends when he doesn't have lessons, but I'd rather him spend that time with ds.

Also, it just wouldn't make sense for him to start dinner when he gets home at 6:30/7 since I don't work. I view it as my end of the bargain as a SAHM (just for me, I know others feel differently)
