You mom? Grandma? Rachel Ray??

I would like to say my mom....however ~ truth be told ~ I've learned more from my FIL since I've been married than my mom ever taught me. He is the best resource I have

Alton Brown comes in a close 2nd

My mother. DH learned from his grandmother. We both watch cooking shows. We're always trying new recipes.

DH likes Alton Brown too. I got tired of him, he is educational though.

Without a doubt, my mother. My MIL is also a pretty good cook too!

Our nanny/cook/housekeeper!

She is in her 90's and that woman still cooks a 3 course meal, at ever meal.

I go over there at least once a week, and she still amazes me at how/what she cooks.

My mom for sure. She made us all recipe boxes with her recipes before she died.

My DH! Before we got married I hardly ever cooked. My mom was not a very good cook, and my stepmom is a great cook, but doesn't like people around her when she's cooking so I never really got to watch her - I would help with things like making salad or peeling potatoes, but that's it.

The first year we were married DH got home from work before me so he made dinner most nights - if I was home in time I would help and he taught me a lot. He hardly ever cooks now unless we are grilling, but he is a great cook.

I taught myself. My mother can't cook and my maternal grandmother never let anyone in the kitchen and she wasn't so great at cooking either. I don't remember seeing my paternal grandmother make anything but a TV dinner.

My husband! He did all the cooking in his first marriage and most of the cooking in the early days.
