I was telling a friend about those burritos you buy in the bags at walmart, but I can't remember the name of the brand. You know, you can get chimichangas or bean burritos or beef and bean burritos, etc. I think one of them is a purple bag and I recall an orange bag. Do you know the actual brand name?

El Monterey???

Dh has a bag of the purple ones in the freezer. I think that they look and smell gross but he likes them for snacks.

Yes, El Monterey!

They make a quick lunch...when I have them, I smother them in ranch dressing. lol We haven't had them for a while, though.

Blech!! (sorry)
Dh drowns them in ketchup. He claims that they are good but I dont know how he can taste anything but the ketchup. Oh well. It does make quick lunches or late night snacks (that's what he likes them for).

I love the blue ones! So good. I usually will cook up a pot of Mexican rice with it and we'll melt cheese on top. I could live on these things.

Yum! That sounds like a great idea. I make a quick version of Spanish Rice. I cook white rice and then mix in some salsa. My DH loves it!

Yummy, Mel! They are definitely better when you "dress" them up. I have even heard of people who go ahead and beak them in a pan and smother them with enchilada sauce, salsa, etc.

I think if we talk them up a bit, we can get araefinn making them for the whole family!
