My daughter is making amish bread and she miscounted her days. She was supposed to add flour/sugar/milk on day 5 but she added day 7. Does anyone know if the bread will be okay or should we just dump it and get a fresh starter.

She did this as part of her girl scout meeting, making new friends. we already had to toss the sour dough starter and she really wants to salvage the amish bread. i told her we can easily start over. She was really looking forward to providing enough bread of everyone at Thanksgiving and was hoping to provide bread for the church thanksgiving dinner. My church hosts a Thanksgiving dinner for anyone in the community who wants to come.
sorry, rambling.

It should be fine. I don't think anyone ever gets the days right on that half the time.
