Ok I'm hosting Easter for the first time ever, and I could use some input!!
Let me give you the basics...

There will be 19 adults, 10 children (ages 2-13)
I will be serving baked ham, and deep fried turkey. The ham is a 10 pounder and the turkey is 15 pounds. Is that enough?
People are going to contribute side dishes etc...and this is what I have listed so far....

Snicker Salad
Sour Cream Macaroni salad
Chips/Dip
Rolls
Deviled Eggs
Pea Salad
Homemade cake
Potato Salad
Watergate Salad
Vegetable/Relish Tray

Should I include one more fresh vegetable style salad, or should I just leave it as is? Also do you see anything missing that we'd probably want? Any input would be great!!! Thank you so much!!

I think your meats will be plenty, you could add baked beans if ya wanted, and if ya think you would need more you could add something to go along with the turkey. All in all it sounds good to me.And what is Snicker Salad?

Snicker Salad is soooo yummy!!!

I can't find where I have it written down, but it consists of:

Large package of Vanilla pudding mix
Cool Whip
2 granny smith apples
3 Large snicker bars

Mix the Vanilla pudding, but leave out one of the cups of milk, I believe it calls for 2 cups on the package?? Add the cool whip (regular size tub), chopped granny smith apples, and chopped snicker bars. Then let it set in the fridge until ready to eat! If it seems too runny, you can add a small package of Vanilla pudding mix to thicken it up. It's so good! I got this recipe from my Mom and everyone loves it!!!

I think you need more turkey. A 15 lb turkey isn't very big and doesn't have that much white meat. I always plan too much I would hate to run out and you can always use it up making sandwiches. Maybe you could make a breast to add more white meat?

You might want to add something more kid-friendly foods too? I don't know many kids that would eat any of those salads, I don't even consider myself that picky and I won't eat any of them. Maybe just cheesy potatoes? I'm sure whatever you do, it will be great!

I think I will add another kid friendly dish to the mix...even if just a simple bowl of mixed cut up fruit. Most kids like that. Usually when we all get together, it's very rare that the kids even eat very much as it is, so it's hard to plan for them. I guess I should go right to the source, my DD is in the next room!! She can probably give me great kid input!
