Lemonade:

1 3/4 c sugar
8 c water
1 3/4 c lemon juice

Combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold.

Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and last 7 cups water.

Lemonade (Crystal Light) with Raspberry Vodka!

Lots of ice
A touch of Lemonade
LOTS of Vodka, I like Absolute

Maybe if it wasn't SNOWING I could get in the mood. And it was in the 70's last week....

I love the raspberry ice Crystal light, I make it and keep it in the fridge so it's good & cold then pour it into my freezer mug (the ones w/ the gel that freezes to keep your drink cold) so it gets nice and slushy--very yummy! Other than that I drink decaf iced tea or water year round.

Good o'l sweet tea for me summer, fall, winter and spring!!!
sometimes I'll switch it up and instead of 7 reg. tea bags. I'll use 5 reg. & 2 mint flavored. All my friends rave about it and how easy is that. Very frugal too. I'll save juice containers or milk jugs and take some along to the pool or picnics.

Boil a medium pot full of water
steep 7 tea bags until it's room temp.
remove tea bags pour into 2 quart pitcher add 3/4 c. sugar stir
fill the rest of the way with cold water stir and enjoy.

My girls love white grape & peach juice (walmart brand is just as good)... So for an adult drink we add coconut rum.. Yummy and they see you pour the same thing... It's all in the eyes of the drink holder my mom always said...

I love just old fashioned brewed unsweet tea with lots of ice. We also love limeades. I keep simple syrup just for them: 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1 cup water, zest of 1 lime (Iuse a vegetable peeler to take it off in large ribbons) Bring to a boil for 3 minutes and let cool. I then store in a jar in the fridge. For a glass of limeade I squeeze the juice of 2 limes into my glass and add a couple of tablespoons of simple syrup (adjust to your taste, I like tart limeade) mix. Then fill glass with ice and fill with lime seltzer water (regular works if you can't find lime and make sure it's not sweetened). Yummy!
