recipes.

My mom can't see very well to cook an eleborate dinner or recipe with alot of steps or ingredients. My dad has diabetes, heart and kidney problems. So she needs to do chicken or pork chops(some don't have alot of fat on them) with just the basic spices on it. No sauces or butters or salt. BLAH!!
I was trying to think of some crockpot recipes that all she has to do is throw it in.

I thought someone on here has posted cooking chicken in just salsa??
Crockpot or baking recipes would be good. Any and all recipes would be appreciated. TIA.

Since no salt or fat etc.

I was thinking what about a couple chicken breasts whole or cut up,carrots cut into rounds, celery, onion and potatoes and a little water to make it's own broth?Or what ever kind of veggies they like.

Maryfs........I can't believe I didn't think of this for you........one thing I do alot is just cook my chicken ~IN~ the Lawrys Marinade...you can get these on sale alot in the summer (2 for$3 or $4) coupons can usually be found on Ebay(I bought some just this week so I will be getting them for $1.00 a bottle)We also actually like EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM...the hawaiian chicken is super........and the lemon pepper one is good to even throw in some red potatoes and carrots with!!!I've never had one we didnt love.

These also are not salty(like some marinades)

I HIGHLY recommend this!!!
