I am bringing a veggie tray for Easter. Wondering what you bring when you bring a veggie tray?
I normally have mini carrots, cucumbers and celery.

Oh gosh...all kinds of things. Depends on the time of year, what looks good to me at the store, what kind of party it is etc

Radishes
Cherry/Grape Tomatoes
English Cucumber Slices
Asparagus (blanched)
Baby Carrots
Red Pepper/Yellow Pepper/Orange Pepper
Broccoli
Radicchio
Pea Pods

I'm not personally a fan of dip but Dh loves this herb dip I make:

Herb Dip:
8 oz Cream Cheese (room temp)
1/2 C Sour Cream
1/2 C Mayonnaise
4 Scallions (white and green parts - minced)
2 T Fresh Parsley (minced)
1 T Fresh Dill (minced)
1 tsp Kosher Salt
3/4 tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Place the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, scallions, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment and blend. Serve at room temperature.

Yield: 2 cups

It depends what veggie tray I'm using. My favorite only has four spots of I usually do carrots, celery, radishes and broccoli.

My only have to is baby carrots. Then I just get whatever looks good at the store, or being cheap, whatever is on sale at the store. I like to get a variety of colors just because I think it's prettier, so for red I like grape tomatoes...but red pepper or radishes would do, for white I like cauliflower, for green you could do cucumber or green pepper or I like the pea pod suggestion. Just whatever you like or have...just as long as it includes baby carrots!!

These are great ideas. I also like blanched green beans (you can toss them in a vinaigrette if you wish), and steamed baby potatoes or those cute little fingerling potatoes. Oh, and celery......or cauliflower......or jicama (julienned). Olives are good to add also.
