I am making muffins from a mix. It calls for eggs, milk and oil. I don't have enough oil. Is there a substitution for the oil??????????? -worried-

do you have applesauce? just substitute same amount i do this with brownies ect to lower the fat content they can seem like they are a little moist so watch your baking times.

I know it's probably too late now, but I have used melted butter or margarine in place of oil and even once used sour cream, but it was regular, not light or fat free. Made it very moist!
