In recipes when it calls for mayonaise can I use Miracle Whip and get the same result?

I would say technically yes - but the taste will be totally different.

We prefer Miracle Whip so that's what I normally use in anything that calls for Mayo (except chicken salad - I prefer that made with Real Mayo) and I have never had any problems. At least I don't think I've had

yes....and although I don't think when mixed with other ingredients that the tase is TOTALLY different...I think on their own real mayo has a touch of a salty flavor where as m.whip has it's trademark "zip".
