Question Chicken Salad Longevity

I am wondering how long you allow chicken salad to remain refrigerated once you've mixed it all together. I made it from the can, and I usually like to snack on it with simply a fork or maybe a couple of crackers. Anyone know how long I can keep it and still eat it safely?
