If this is in the wrong place, forgive me. Do you buy frozen veggies? How do you fix them? Microrwave? Stovetop? Forgive me for being naive, but I have never bought frozen, only canned? Are frozen cheaper?
TIA!!!

Yes this is the right place to ask the question.

I buy both.Depending on what it is.Can is cheaper for me.I only pay .39 cents a can at save a lot.Frozen is .89-1.00 bag there too.I like some crisp and some I don't.Really depending on each persons prefference. On the stove top or microwave you only add a couple T. of water and on the stove do them on low and in the microwave it tells you on the back of the package how many minutes depending on the vegetbale.I can't really say a time I have done it for so long I just know by looking at them.

HTH.

We do fresh almost 100% of the time but if we do use prepackaged veggies, we usually use frozen. They don't seem as mushy to us as canned. I usually just follow the directions on the bag...I usually make them on the stovetop. I'm not a big user of my microwave, the only thing I make in there is popcorn and to eat up water for tea. L.OL

I have never bought any veggies in a can. I try and buy fresh 99.9% of the time. The only veggies I buy frozen is peas, and the cut corn. Other than that it's just fresh veggies.

I always buy frozen veggies. I buy the huge bags from Sam's. I like them because you can just use the amount you want and put the rest back in the freezer. I think that they taste fresher and have more crisp than the ones in a can also. I usually just warm them up in the microwave or I put them in casseroles.

Frozen vegetables are great in the winter when you can't get good fresh produce. I really dislike canned vegetables, and the frozen ones taste much closer to what the fresh tastes like. I usually just put them in a covered glass dish with a little water & microwave them until they're done.

I have to suggest (and i didnt read all the posts so i dont know if anyone else did) these bags of frozen veggies called 'steam fresh' or something along those lines... you microwave them in their bag and they taste like fresh veggies--never had anything so good. i got them at walmart and they were maybe a $1.00 a bag.
