Fried bologna with scrambled eggs. To this day, I can not eat bologna-I think because I know what it is made from.
I know that there has to be other things, but for the life of me, I cant think of any of them???

This isn't really weird, but none of my friends ever knew what it was. We frequently had refried beans with melted cheese served with tortilla chips as a meal.

We ate "creamed tuna on toast" aka "**** on a shingle". It wasn't so bad. Kind of a comfort food actually. I haven't had it in years though. We also ate (and still do) a lot of cheese sandwiches. Colby jack, colby, or cheddar cheese (sliced thick from a chunk) with mayo on white bread. Best with a big old glass of milk. YUM! I actually didn't realize this was unusual until about 3 weeks ago when I said I was craving one (I'm on a no dairy diet for bf ds) and DH thought I was crazy. Oh, and creamed peas on mashed potatoes. YUM!

We love fried bologna here in the south, be it a sandwich with mustard and onions or with scrambled eggs. Also pop corn with milk was the first cold breakfast cereal (Cornpops cereal is just basically sweet pop corn) We grew up eating peanut butter and mayonaise sandwiches, sometimes with bananas on it; saltines with butter on them; radishes dipped in peanut butter; cantaloupe pieces wrapped in country ham (little did I know how "she-she" that would become!) I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of right now.

My Mom didn't make it, but I have been eating sushi from an early age. My kids are doing the same.

My Dad (before remarrying!!) would either give us frozen waffles (cooked, of course) with frosting on them, or peanut butter on pancakes with syrup, for breakfast! Not the most healthy thing to eat for brkfst., but I've given this to all my kids at one time or another, and we still love these!!

DH recently started DD on cheese-wrapped bananas...I won't eat them, but as picky as DD is, she LOVES it!!

cinnamon bread with cheese whiz and sliced olives! Yummy! It was a staple at all of our holiday parties at school and even just for a quick snack at home!
