Do you use canned chicken? What are somethings that you make?

We love mixing in a dry ranch packet, 1 cup mayo, 1 cup sour cream.. dip frito's yummm

I use it when making chicken and noodles, add a can of cream of chicken or mushroom soup.. they love it...

We also make a lot of chicken salad sandwiches in the summer.. Add diced apples, you will like it..

Our grocery store runs it for $1.25 for the large can so I stock up..

I have never tried it, mainly because I dont know what to do with it. Would you mind sharing your chicken salad sandwich recipe?? It would be nice to have another sandwich filler. Thanks!

I buy canned chicken every once in a while at Sam's.

I add it to gravy and put it over potatoes or rice.

When we do Chicken gravy over rice we call it Hawaiian haystacks. Then add other toppings like, tomatoes, cheese, olives, crunchy chow mein noodles, pineappleor green peppers.

I make it up just like tuna with mayo. I add in what ever I can get the kids to eat.. raisins, sliced grapes, diced apples, celery. I do put salt and pepper on mine. We eat it in wraps, on bread, cressent rolls. My mom puts it in a bowl of lettuce oposed to a sandwich.

drain the can and use a fork to loosen up the chunks. Let me know whe you try it..

This is usually what we do also. It's quick and easy (except my kids don't eat it...only DH & I). We have also been lucky and our local store has had a great sale on it.

I do buy it occasionally and use it just like regular chicken..make enchiladas, chicken salad,casseroles...anything you would use regular cut up,already cooked chicken in.

This is about the only meat I ever buy in a can that doesn't taste over processed and "can-y"!?!?!

I dont use it too often but hey we all get busy somedays!!
