without a steamer?? I love steamed broccoli, zuccini, carrots, etc...but don't have a steamer. I have no clue how to steam something without one.

Anyone have any easy tips or instructions?

just buy one of those collapsable baskets that sit in any pan...you dont need a new appliance to steam veggies .....put some water, usually enough to fill about an inch is what I do,bring to a boil, lower heat to simmer and start with about 8 minutes then test with fork...and cont to simmer(lid on)til its as done as you like.

baskets you can usually get at wal mart...
