My gram gave me her bread maker, but it doesn't have any directions. It's a Betty Crocker and it makes a 2lb loaf. Does anyone know how to use these things or should I just send it on it's merry way.

Have you tried looking up the serial number or brand online. I have found many instructions this way and sometimes if you call the company they will send you the directions package.

Look around for breadmaker recipes on the internet. The instructions are all basically the same. If your first batch doesn't turn out well, it may not be anything you did wrong. Just keep experimenting. You'll soon be thrilling us with tales of your great homemade breads.

I have one and have never baked a loaf in it, just make the dough in it, and bake it in the oven. It makes great pizza dough without all the work and mess. Good Luck.

I bought a Rival breadmaker at a garage sale for 5 dollars, but it had no instructions. I looked online for Rival and found the address to send to for instructions. Try looking for yours online, it's worth it. I use mine all the time for bread, pizza dough, anything I need bread for. I actually do use the recipes that came with my instructions, but I use others too. Good luck!
