we are currently not at home- we're in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area for my dd Dr. appointments today and tomorrow...I just got a call on my cell phone from a lady chef who does cooking classes at a beautiful kitchen/classroom at our local grocery store (HyVee). She is head of this cooking lifestyles class there and asked me to make "guest chef" apperances. I am kind of excited about it, because it would be a once a month deal for me. I would just give her a grocery list and choose one evening (6:30-8:30) out of each month to go in and teach a class. Her normal classes are twice a week. I am very excited, because I'd been wanting to do something like this for a while now. The great news is that the pay is UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I'd get $75 per class that i teach. That is a nice little chunk of money for two hours of "work!" My hubby and I can start adding that cash to our vacation!!! I'll be starting in July- I am excited about getting to choose when the class is and what I'll be teaching. Our schedule is so up in the air right now, with Mary being ill and visiting Dr.s, but I think I can certainly schedule around one day out of the month! :happy dance:
