Charbroiled Beef Patties

8 charlbroiled beef patties(I get mine from Walmart)--$4(I already had them before frugal but that price sounds about right)
2 cups dry rice.50
corn.75(we like alot of corn!)
2 packages brown gravy .66

Total meal--$5.91
4 servings--$1.48
6 servings--$.99
8 servings--$.74

I just throw the patties frozen into the oven on a cookie sheet. Microwave the rice and then the corn. And cook the gravy. We put gravy on the meat and the rice, butter in the corn, and eat it with bread and butter.

Great meal if you come home late and you need a quick meal that doesn't need to be defrosted.

I serve mine as 4 servings and we each get 2 patties each but the dogs got the leftovers..there wasn't much. No leftovers for dhs lunch but he has sandwiches.

I make this too but with meatballs sometimes or instead of rice mashed potatoes.Very nice and hearty meal and everyone likes it.

You have 4 in your family right?What are the ages of your children?I have 2 boys-1 is 11 and the other is 6 1/2.

Well at this moment I have a dh--he is 6'6 and weighs 256lbs--he eats for 3!

My dd Emily is 18 but leaving for college on Saturday--wahhhhhhh~

My dd Sarah is 10

And my step dd Whitney who comes to visit us often, although she lives out of state, is 16.

So my family is about to be 3 except on holidays and school breaks.
