Well, if it were me I'd ask him what he wants to eat made w/ it, since he bought it and wants it to be a staple in your house! Then like cookie said, I'd feed him something w/ cornmeal 3 meals a day--and maybe even snacks!

Dh sprinkles it on the pizza stone before laying the crust down.

I think it goes in mush--which I think might be the most disgusting thing I've ever tried.

He wants it to be a staple in the house? Did he have any ideas when he had this brain fart?

My best advice is - Try allrecipes.com next to the search box click More Searches, then select Ingredient Search and search for recipes containing corn meal.

He wants it to become a staple in ot house. What on earth can I make?

Doesn't he say what he wants you to do with it???

I'd demand my DH to write me a List of WTH I am supposed to do with it

Or else it would become a Staple in his Car trunk - and Outta My House

When I was in high school, my mom showed me how to mix a little cornmeal with body wash to make a paste, then scrub my face with it. Works GREAT! Actually, it would probably work as an inexpensive body scrub as well. Just make up enough to use right away, because cornmeal can go rancid.

I'd make your husband cornmeal mush for breakfast, cornmeal muffins for lunch (they are great with added bacon, cheese and chilis), and polenta for dinner. I'd feed him so much cornmeal he would be sick of it.

BTW, you can also make cornmeal tortillas. Very easy.

These are delicious but they call for corn flour, is that the same? corn cakes

The only other thing I've ever used corn meal for is to bread okra and fry it. yum.

This winter he could use it in place of kitty litter or sand under his tires for traction in case he gets stuck! Problem solved...put it in his trunk, as part of his winter emergency kit!

My husband would never buy anything like that without consulting me first. I would tell him to fix it.
