You take a chicken.I do a 4-5 pound chicken and you buy this gadget to fit in the chickens butt to hold it upright. They only cost a few dollars and you can even find them in the meat department at the grocery store. So you wash the chicken,Then I take chicken seasoning and rub it down and let it sit in the fridge over night or for a few hours at least. Then you open a can of beer.dump or drink half the can of beer and put the chicken on it.You put a potato in the neck of the chicken after pooking a few holes in it so the heat doesn't come out the top of the chicken. Then you set it on the grill and we keep the grill around 350 and cook it till done.It takes us around 1 1/2 hours.I keep checking it with the thermometer to make sure.We use a wood grill so I don't know if the time would vary using a gas or charcol grill.I have heard of people doing this in the oven before but I haven't tried it that way yet.It comes out so super moist and tastes so good!
