I have no idea what we are doing. My in-laws may come over for the weekend, not sure. We will probably cook out something. We don't have a big get together.

I love the no pressure of this holiday as well. This year it'll be extra special since my brother will be home from the marines visiting. It'll be really good to see him! We're having a family picnic & sleeping over night so we can all have a good time & not have to worry about driving home. My mom is a fabulous cook so she'll make most of the food & we'll probably bring a dish to share. I can't wait til the holiday!!!!

We are heading north to Coldwater Canada about 11 hrs away by car. We are goign to be camping at a friends camp.... it is 475 acres with a 74 acre lake. They have a 180 degree view of the Northern Lights... it is awesome. We will have a gas grill and campfire but no running water, limited electricity via a gasoline powered generator. I am going to make a bunch of cookies, sweet breads, regular bread, and fry up some eggs to store in ziplocks until we are ready to throw in the fry pan with some veggies and spice to reheat.

I'm so excited, we leave Tuesday evening - we are staying a couple days in Algonquin State Park before we go to our friends camp.

My DD's b-day is almost always on or near the Labor Day holiday so it is all about her!

We don't do anything for Labor Day. I used to work(in retail). I may go to the cemetary this year. Seven years ago, my dad died on Labor Day. So it's kind of a sad day for my family.
