Ugh! What a morning. I went to get my kids waffles from the freezer and they had thawed. Now I have to figure out what is salvagable and what need to be tossed. I already threw away a box of Popsicles and two half gallons of ice cream (sob!) that were liquid. Some of the meat was still really cold and frozen in the middle - do you think I can refreeze it? I have another freezer in my basement I can move some of the stuff into - there is more than I can use in the next few days and I hate to throw it all away.
I also had three meals from Dream Dinners in there - they went into my fridge and that is what we are having tonight, tomorrow and Sunday - I refuse to waste those.
What do you think about my frozen cookie dough and stuff like chicken patties - they are a little soft, but still really cold. Will they be okay if I put them in the other freezer? I think my frozen veggies should be fine - I swear sometimes they thaw on their way to the store anyway.
