Not sure what else I am doing with it yet....but I saw a carrot stuffing casserole that I might try...can't remember who posted it though....(sorry).
Make Lainey's veggie bread, then we can compare notes!

Great idea aliadam! I would have to say that 85% of what I cook now-a-days I have gotten from here. I have a three ring binder devoted to recipes I have printed out from MS. I LOVE IT!!

I must, however, get better at going back and leaving comments. That will be my challenge!

This is a really good idea. I never follow recipes exactly, mostly because I am lazy and I never have all the ingredients.

I've made a few things from here recently, I'll try to go and add my comments/changes to the posts.

Okay.... a bit of an update from Day #1 of my mommysaver recipe cooking challenge.

Now I remember why I don't cook many of them...

I DON'T LIKE TO COOK & I'M NOT VERY GOOD AT IT!!!!!

It took me two friggin' hours "non-stop" of chopping, melting, crumbling, stirring, measuring, etc. The whole time I'm thinking...I'd rather be on the computer or doing ANYTHING else. THEN...I was trying to drain some of the grease off the meatloaf, and DUMPED THE WHOLE THING ON THE COUNTER!!! I managed to save "most" of it, but it was just a "heap" of meatloaf that resembled dog food!! We all still ate it and thought it was good (so this is no reflection on mommy2mercedes recipe...just my cooking skills ). So the meatloaf and veggie bread I would both recommend.

BUT....I'm not giving up. One pile of doggy meatloaf can't stop supermom!!

I'm still on a mission to make mommysavers recipes?!?! So who's with me today on Day #2?!?!? I still need to figure out what to make today...but I guarantee it will involve less chopping!

aliadam, you are too funny!!

I responded on the recipe threads...but I will tell you all here too. I made the meatloaf and it came out great!!

And I even grated the "friggin" cheddar cheese, because all I had was a block!!

I also made the Carrot/stuffing casserole. YUMMY!! My Fav!!

Tonight we are doing left overs!! Chicken Noodle Casserole, and everything from last night!!

Good luck though on day 2 of your challenge!!
