Okay so we tried these recipes this week and yum-o is all I have to say. I can't believe my dh didn't have any complaints.

7-up Ranch Chicken I only used 2 TBS butter in this recip and it was still yum-o

5 ingredients of less recipes This is a chicken noodle soup recipe that was so delicous and easy. Thanks Ryansmom

We tried this one too and it was great. You ladies are AWESOME! Everything I try on this board is great.

Easy Cheesy Chicken

We also had these green beans with our meatloaf. I think you could easily do this with fresh asparagus too. It was so quick and easy.

I am slowly easing into cooking every night now that we have a newborn. Today I made chicken soup for the week. For dinner I made chicken tenders breaded with Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs , wild rice and zucchini for me and peas and potatoe fries for DH who is very picky.

Coolmamacat, I need to check out the dessert recipes- I want to make peanut butter balls and the pudding mix cookies.

Last week I made banana nut muffins and this week it will be pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving.

I did the Sweet Green Bean Bundles that Mommy2mercedes posted. All I can say is YUMMY!! These are very good and just the right amount of sweet. I did a smaller version of the recipe since it was just the 5 of us and I did not know if anyone would eat them. I also did french green beans since that is all I had. I will make these again!

Holy - - - Moly!!!!!!!

after running into the bathroom and using the mirror to do a "how many fingers am I holding up?" test on myself...apparently I did read your post correctly....you DID cook something and LOW and BEHOLD it was not only edible but deliscious....!?!?!?!

Aliadam....... I certainly hope that helps to blur the image of the doggie meatloaf that is emblazed upon your mind...and you are now empowered by the feeling of having done it once that you might be able to jump the hurdle yet..(gasp)..a second time!!!

(seriously though girl...as usual....I just love ya..you never fail to make me laugh!!! )

I also tried 911mom's recipe for pumpkin spice muffins. All you do is take a box of spice cake mix, stir in the regular size (not large size) can of pumpkin and bake according to muffin times on the cake mix box. MY FAMILY LOVES THESE!!!!! I've made them twice. Two items.... a little stirring....and VOILA!! I may try oregano's suggestion for adding some sort of chips in also.

So now I'm not only able to leap tall buildings in a single bound and bake a brunch casserole, but I can bake pumpkin muffins!! SUPERMOM!!
