I'm thinking about making my own bread from now on. I love the taste of fresh bread and just want to learn how.

Do any of you make your own?
What machine would you recommend?
How many loaves do you make at a time?
What is your favorite whole wheat recipes?

Thanks!

I've started making my own bread. I have a kitchenaid mixer that I use for the kneading portion. It is so easy!

For recipes, I've been searching on the internet and trying different ones out. I haven't made a 100% whole wheat loaf yet, but I've done half and half, and it turned out well.

I need to find a source for bulk flour and bulk yeast - I'm going through the 5# sacks too fast!

Happy baking!

I've never made my own, but my sil makes
her own and it is delicious!
Definitely worth trying, but I have had
terrible luck working with yeast!!

When I bought my bread machine, it had recipes in there. I love the honey oat one.

Do you mean that you want recipes for making it by hand and baking in the oven? I probably have some of those around here, too....

I use an oster bread machine. I make bread everyday. I use several different recipes, all of which I find online. If you want to make bread from scratch, you can find several recipes online.
