I need to make my husband's favorite cake for his birthday today! His mother always made it, but I can't remember how to make the icing. Whip Cream Icing. I know to start with heavy whipping cream, but what do I add, vanilla and maybe sugar???? HELP!

My Mom makes chocolate whipped cream icing to go on angel food cake and it's 2 C of Whipping Cream, 1/4 C Milk, 1 C Powdered Sugar and then 1/4 C of Cocoa. I bet you coulod make it without the cocoa...

I found this one online for ya:

Whipped cream frosting
2 cups chilled heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

The directions are the same though...

Beat cream in large bowl until soft peaks form. Add other ingredients and beat until stiff peaks form.

Good luck!
