Type A - No clutter, only keep what you can fit in your cabinets and have a tidyy counter top
Type B - People "think" you have a clutter free kitchen because your counters are tidy, but the truth is you put up more shelves, buy free standing cabinets, add to your "organization" products to accomidate your growing "stuff". You secretly wish to be a type A
Type C - Your counters are untidy, you oppoligize to guests for you clutter and are often caught pondering ways to declutter, but just haven't done it.
Type D - You are a clutter bug and you are fine with it! Pile making is your official hobby and you are proud.
I am a Type B. I WANT to be a type A really bad.
We have a very small kitchen and have 3 kids, 2 dog, and 2 cats. I am pretty organized, but it never seems to be enough in the kitchen. I came to the realization that I HAVE TO become one with my small kitchen....we are not moving for a very long time, so everything I have needs to fit IN our cabinets and the rolling cars, extra cabinets and adjustable office shelving on the walls needs to go. This means PURGE! The problem is I do not keep clutter, don't stockpile, don't have a lot of extras....I need help! I refuse to be conquerred by kitchen "stuff!" Any ideas as to how to handle this task? What things have you gotten rid of that has made a lot of difference and what has not worked for you?
