Oh, Mary, I feel so bad for you w/ gall bladder pain. I swear the week b/f I had mine out all I ate was popsicles, soda crackers, and Lipton cup-a-soup. Definitely don't try the pizza! I hope you feel better soon!

I'm not bothered by the pain too often (knock wood). I suppose if you're bothered by it alot then you would have it taken out? I just wish there was something to ease the pain when I get it.
I'm fine today though.

I guess it depends on what's wrong w/ it that's causing the pain. My mom had gall stones and had to have emergency surgery to have hers out right after I was born. Mine just didn't function right which they said wasn't a big deal (unless of course you were me and in the pain I was some days!) so I had to wait until the dr could get me in to have it out, so I suffered for about 3 wks, and some days were much worse than others. The last few days it got really bad. Over the course of about a year I had a couple ultrasounds done that showed no stones or sand then another test (hydascan? maybe?) that showed it wasn't functioning correctly. If you continue to have problems you should see your dr before it gets bad!
