Are there any substitutions for eggs when You only have 2 and you need 3? Or can i make a cake with only 2 eggs?

I've always heard applesauce. Lemme go see if I can find the cook book it was in to get the amt....

Wahhhhhh! I have no applesauce. I have a kid who doesn't like it so I don't buy it.

Ok, this is out of a Vegan cookbook - I use it for when I run out of milk, eggs etc...

For one egg:

1/2 banana OR

1/4 cup tofu (through food processor) OR

3 Tbs applesauce

I have none of the above. Its a cake mix from a box. What would happen if i only used 2 eggs instead of 3?

Another I've found says 2Tbs corn starch....

If you ever encounter something like that again, just google "baking substitutions" and there are TONS of sites out there with info. Hope it worked out!

I think it would probably be just fine...
