Anyone have fun/quick/easy ideas of what to do w/ canned pears? I'm looking for ideas b/c my dd loves pears . . .

Your DD probably would prefer them plain.

If you want to do a dessert, simply place a few pears in a shallow dish, drizzle some chocolate syrup on them, then garnish with a dollop of whipped cream. Very yummy!

You can also use pears instead of pineapple in an upside down cake. Or you can serve pears on the side with ham, pork or chicken.

Thanks for some of the tips so far!

I sprinkled some cinnamon on the pears tonight and broiled them lightly to go w/ our dinner; my dh & dd loved them! My dh doesn't usually like "cooked" fruit, but this he liked. My dd is like me and loves cinnamon, so it was a good win!
