MMM I got some lobster tail for 40% off today and plan on cooking it up with my Angel Food T-Bone steaks. Any suggestions for cooking a good lobster tail

It's a true testiment to Mommysavers when no one responds to this post Ha Ha: ....seems none of us knows how to cook lobster tails, but ask for ideas how to use leftovers and you'll get lots of posts!

Okay now! I only know this because I used to live in Maine and lobster was pretty cheap up there at the time (less than $3.00/ lb). At those prices, a lobster dinner was a pretty cheap meal if you cooked it yourself since one lobster is about a pound or so....

Anyway......Get yourself a big pot of salted water going to a rolling boil. Drop in the thawed lobster tails, cover and return to a boil. Depending on how many you have in the pot, give it about 5-10 minutes. They are done when the shells turn bright red. Drain well in a collander and serve with REAL melted butter. Enjoy. I am so jealous. I want to move back to Maine one summer just so I can eat lobster every day!!!

I ate lobster almost every day when we went to Massachusetts The best part was when they would have 2 lobsters for the price of one because they had 1 deformed claw MMMM

I buy lobster a few times a year as a special treat for my hubby because it is much cheaper than going to Red Lobster. One store by me gets a lot of seafood in before any holiday and a few weeks later clear it out at 40-50% off so we enjoy lobster than

Well at least I am serving it with the T-bone steaks I got for $2.25 each from Angel Foods
