I seriously think I use mine for every meal. I would have a hard time living without. I defrost meat, fix all the frozen vegies, melt butter, rehydrate minced onion (rather than chopping fresh), make oatmeal, reheat leftovers, make popcorn... The list never ends.

Since we've been moving, we have been living without one here at our new house...not to mention that I'm not going to have any place for it once it does get here, but we haven't missed it too much. Though I haven't been doing a ton of cooking like I did at the old house yet. I hate micro popcorn, so we don't have that. It was basically there to reheat stuff or thaw meat.
