I budget $400.00 a month for a family of four (though one is a baby) and our October total came to $373.94. I have a lot of food stashed away from this summer though and we've been eating that. I suspect this month (November) will be a lot higher because I'm buying part of a beefer.

Right now we budget for $400 a month (includes diapers, formula, all food, cleaning products, paper products) We actually spent $379 this month and have so much stocked up- because of the twins comming at any time we don't want to shop for more than milk and bread for the first month...I am sure that our Nov. spending will be next to nothing! I am excited to see how well we do! We've got a lot of freezer meals that are ready to just throw in the oven or microwave and we have a lot of meat- Turkey, chickens, hamburger and such. We've got about 2 months worth of formula for Noah and we've got diapers for quite a while too-
