We buy half a cow in spring and it's so much cheaper for us to use the beef. Plus, I was raised on a farm and it was either chicken or beef....and sometimes we'd get pork.

I use both. My family likes hamburger for sandwiches, but other than that they don't seem to notice the difference at all.
